Description

PACO Group, Inc is an innovative, project management consulting firm specializing in project controls and configuration management. We are seeking Cost Estimators for infrastructure projects (rail, bridge, tunnel, aviation, etc.) throughout the United States.  This position will be responsible for generating estimates based on conceptual through final design.

The successful candidates must be experienced with capital program construction in major transportation projects (heavy/light rail, highways, airport terminals, runways, and port facilities), school and university expansions/modifications, new construction, infrastructure and other facilities.  The candidate also must demonstrate:

• Knowledge in life-cycle costing, risk analysis and value engineering.
• Prior responsibility for the quality and accuracy of all estimates prepared on the project.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project baselines
• Forecast costs
• Measure cost performance against budget
• Review change orders
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience.
• Familiarity with government agency requirements.
• BS/BA in engineering, preferably civil.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
• Computer literate, especially in project controls software application,spreadsheets and database programs.
• Knowledgeable of principles and practices of estimating, scheduling and project controls.
• PE/AIA license highly desirable
