Description

PACO Group, Inc is an innovative, project management consulting firm specializing in project controls and configuration management. We are seeking an experienced Document Control Specialist for an infrastructure project located in the New York Metropolitan Area.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to multitask and function effectively under deadlines, have exceptional organizational skills and must demonstrate:

• Experience and knowledge of the functional responsibilities of all project management staff typically assigned to a project and recognize which individuals to contact for required information.
• Proficiency at developing and documenting workflows, processes, and procedures to formalize recurring tasks.
• Ability to utilize document management solutions.
  

Responsibilities

• Operating the project office document control system.
• Assist in developing procedures for document management.
• Assist in the establishment of a functional file system.
• Prepare all outgoing mail with correct postage and maintain mail log.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages and parcels.
• Generate and upload reports.
• Provide clerical support.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years experience.
• AA/AS degree or equivalent
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in the use of Primavera Contract Manager.
  
• Computer literate, especially with document management systems and MS Office programs.
• Experience in the construction management/engineering/architectural fields.
• Engineering degree highly desirable.
  
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
• Computer literate, especially in project controls software application,spreadsheets and database programs.
• Knowledgeable of principles and practices of estimating, scheduling and project controls.
• PE/AIA license highly desirable
  

The position may require a valid driver’s license and good driving record.  PACO Group is an EOE/AA employer.
