PACO, as a sub-consultant to ARUP, provided Real Estate Support Services for the $750-million Fulton Street Transit Center project.  Additional services included: Cost Estimating, Title Research, Right-of-Way and Real Estate Acquisition.

Project Overview.  The project will improve access to and between the maze of underground passages between Fulton and John Street that currently links 9 subway lines and 4 stations – including Lower Manhattan’s busiest station facility – at a complex serving 275,000 riders per day. The Transit Center will stand at the center of an area that includes not only the nation’s third-largest central business district, but also major cultural, educational and retail attractions.  With 85% of trips to these and other sites in Lower Manhattan made by public transit, the station complex will play a key role in the area’s economic recovery and future development.
