Project Management Oversight - AMTRAK

PACO is currently providing technical personnel as an extension of AMTRAK's staff to support projects funded by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  Specific tasks performed includes: project management, professional engineering, field inspection, contract administration, cost control, document control and administrative support.  PACO has currently staffed projects in the following cities: Boston, MA, New Haven, CT, Philadelphia, PA, Chicago Il, and Jacksonville, FL

Project Overview. In 2009, Congress passed the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) which in turn appropriated $1.3 billion to the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (AMTRAK) for capital investments.  Provisions within ARRA require the allocation of $850 million to rebuild, modernize and maintain infrastructure.
