PACO Technologies, Inc. (PACO), served as a subconsultant to formerly DMJM Harris, now AECOM, provided several key services on this highprofile project including configuration management, document control, estimating at the 30, 60, 90 and 100% design stages, as well as value engineering during the design process.
This project consisted of the design and construction of 1.5 miles of transit way and elevated guideway, an at-grade passenger station, parking facilities, access roads, and track work procurement. The scope included the preparation of complete biddable construction plans, specifications and estimates for all phases of construction, including demolition of existing facilities.
All design work was subject to Value Engineering review by PACO. The cost estimates, prepared by PACO, required take-off of all materials, labor and equipment and was prepared in CSI format.
