PACO serves as the linchpin that keeps construction projects on track and ensures successful outcomes. Here we showcase projects that are either ongoing, or that have been executed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

PACO Group, Inc. as a subconsultant to the Schal-Berger Joint Venture, provided Program Management Services for the development of the AirTrain Newark Automated People Mover System as part of the Newark International Airport Redevelopment Plan. These services included Project Controls, Cost Estimating, CPM Scheduling, Document Controls, and Construction Inspection.

The Automated People Mover System (Monorail) for Newark International Airport, was completed and went into operation in 1996. A $378 million project, this on-airport system connecting all three terminal buildings, parking lots and rental car facilities, was subsequently connected to the Northeast Corridor New Jersey Transit and Amtrak train system. In 2001, the system was linked to the heavy rail station and fliers and airport workers were then able to transfer between the monorail and trains heading in an out of Newark Penn Station. The monorail was also expanded from 12 cars to 18.

In conjunction with the opening of the monirail was the opening of the The International Facility in Terminal B. This $110 million international passenger facility was completed and opened to passengers in 1996. The Newark International Airport Landside Access Program was the phased redevelopment of the roadway system that provided car and bus access to the airport. It involved over $800 million in five phases of construction.  The program also included tenant airlines financed construction and additional future Port Authority projects such as parking structures.

The PACO Group team gathers around a conference table to discuss strategies.
