The Rehabilitation of Building Roofs for New Jersey Marine Terminals Stage 1 project involved the assessment andrehabilitation planning of roofing systems across eight buildings located within the Port Newark and Elizabeth-Port Authority Marine Terminal facilities in New Jersey. The project focused on improving roof performance, extending facility life cycles, maintaining operational continuity, and reducing long-term maintenance costs while preserving life safety and functional requirements. The Value Engineering study evaluated architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and environmental components to identify cost-saving alternatives and design improvements for the approximately $17.4 million roof rehabilitation program.
