This project involved the rehabilitation and modernization of the intermodal bus and subway facility at the 74th Street/Roosevelt Avenue Station in Queens, New York. The scope included the development of a street-level control area, improved transfer access through new stairs and elevators, and the addition of covered bus lanes with concession areas. Major infrastructure enhancements included the construction of a sewer siphon, expansion of an
underground transfer passageway, integration of a signals facility, installation of mechanical ventilation systems, and ADA-compliant accessibility improvements.

The work also included extensive rehabilitation of existing station elements such as mezzanines, platforms, the 73rd Street underpass, and escalator building. Additional upgrades involved rerouting signal cables, installing new electrical and communications systems including lighting, public address, and CCTV, and providing service connections for retail spaces. Architectural improvements were applied throughout the station and bus terminal. Services provided included cost estimating, scheduling, and inspection services.
