PACO serves as the linchpin that keeps construction projects on track and ensures successful outcomes. Here we showcase projects that are either ongoing, or that have been executed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

The Phoenix Sky Train System was developed to provide efficient passenger transportation between multiple airport stations at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, significantly reducing reliance on roadway-based transit within the airport environment. By shifting passenger movement from buses to a dedicated rail system, the project reduced roadway congestion, air pollution, bus noise, and pavement deterioration caused by heavy bus traffic, while enhancing overall airport circulation and the passenger experience.

The project is notable for its innovative engineering, as it represents the first rail system in the world to cross over an active airport taxiway, requiring advanced structural design and close coordination with airport operations to ensure safety and continuous aircraft movement. This achievement was recognized with an Excellence in Structural Engineering Award from the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA), underscoring the project’s technical complexity and significance within the aviation and transportation industry.

The PACO Group team gathers around a conference table to discuss strategies.
