For more than 25 years, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) have utilized a Project Delivery Support contract to strengthen the management and oversight of its capital program. The initiative supports the Engineering Department in planning, executing, and controlling a wide range of infrastructure projects by enhancing project management practices, scheduling, cost control, and overall program coordination. Resources are provided on an on call basis to ensure flexibility in meeting evolving project demands across the Authority’s transportation facilities.

The program also focuses on advancing integrated computerized project control and reporting systems to improve visibility into budgets, schedules, costs, and resource allocation. Efforts include refining procedures, enhancing reporting capabilities, preparing management-level presentations, and developing project delivery standards. Training and technical support further reinforce consistent application of best practices, ensuring effective oversight and continuous improvement in capital project delivery across the agency.
